Description

An old friend of mind looked so content and mildly quixotic at the same time that I had to draw him to capture that guitarists' euphoria on his face. HB and 2H pencils, 40lb paper, about 4 hours of work or so.

Critiques are very welcome but play nice! =)

sure, i didn't realize the file size was so small. one larger one, comin up. however, could you help me? how on earth could i alter the image size to make it bigger, but not have it get all grainy or pixellated?

ahhh...thats not good
from what i can see it looks as it is taken with a camera

my only suggestion would be that u scan it, you'll have the size alright then

Pretty cool, reminds me of that old A-HA video from the 80's, keep waiting for him to move

. Try scanning it at a massive resolution and then shrink it down to 614 wide. Drawing as big as you can on the paper certainly helps as well.

alright, good idea.

yea, i know. from years of sketching on the back of pizza boxes (small pizzas) and napkins, it's hard trying to tell myself that I really can use the rest of the paper; its ok! lol, i appreciate it. i'll do an update tomorrow.
