as i drive by the old place
i see my old tree
it was my own space
with my own tire swing
i'd pass the day by
never knowing i'd leave
and now it has changed
they took down the swing
but the memory's the same
down by my old tree
i'd read in the branches
and grieve for dead leaves
and praise the new growth
in me and my tree
and pass by the day
in my old tire swing

taken with my old nikon, obviously i'm not a photographer, but i had some inspiration.
